Fluidity is a response to instability. Fluids, upon finding themselves discontent, shift and change, adapting to external pressure in order to take a new shape. Fluids, like water, represent movement and transition and change. Dripping, cascading, leaking through the cracks— water knows what it means to move. In a world that is constantly in motion, constantly exerting pressure upon and displacing us, we find ourselves most content in fluidity. What moves water? What does it mean to live in motion?

The answer to these questions came in the form of OverFlow, a one night pop up event that took place in a Logan Square backyard in 2025.
